Deepthi Bopaiah is the CEO of GoSports Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 2008, which supports junior, emerging, and elite athletes in Olympic and Paralympic disciplines. In 2019, the Foundation was awarded the ‘Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Award – National Sports Encouragement Award’ by the President of India, for identifying and nurturing young talent in sports.

Deepthi, formerly a wealth adviser and trainer during her 6-year tenure at HSBC, decided to quit her job to pursue her passion for sport and has been with the foundation since 2012. A sportswoman herself, she has represented her state of Karnataka in basketball and tennis.
